Learning plan – Maths

Different departments/faculties will have different approaches to learning planning and it would be very useful if we could share as many ideas as possible. This is an example from Maths: S1 Mathematics Learning Plan Block 1

If you have an example of something similar that would you like to share, please do so by uploading to this site, either yourself, via your Learning and Teaching Committee representative or by forwarding to me.

Daily lessons record on teacher websites

Many staff in The Berwickshire High School are using teacher websites (either via GLOW, blogs or wikispaces) to enhance the learning experience for students. One great example is Fiona’s use of a Daily Lessons area to post a short summary of what was done in class that day along with links to any resources used. Having spoken to Fiona about this, she assures me that it only takes 5 or 10 minutes to do at the start or end of the day. It’s a fantastic resource for any student who was absent, who didn’t finish some of the work or who simply wants to go back over anything from the day’s lesson.
